Filton Avenue Nursery School is saying a bittersweet farewell to Johnny, Gavin and Liz, who will be retiring in the coming weeks after many years of dedication to the nursery and the countless children they have taught and cared for.
Johnny, Gavin and Liz will be greatly missed by staff, children and families alike. To mark this special occasion, Johnny and Gavin have given Filton Avenue the most thoughtful leaving gift: a beautiful pear tree, which the children were able to unveil together recently. It is a gift that will keep on giving for many years to come, and it is a fitting way to celebrate their time at Filton Avenue. As the children watch the tree grow, blossom and eventually bear fruit, they will be reminded of Johnny and Gavin’s kindness and the wonderful legacy they leave behind.
Liz will also be leaving a special gift, which will be shared very soon. Filton Avenue is deeply grateful to Johnny, Gavin and Liz for everything they have given to the nursery over the years. The impact they have had on children’s lives, the care they have shown and the dedication they have brought to their work will be remembered fondly.
