Hartcliffe Nursery School brought families and the community together on 6th May for a special Family Picnic celebrating family, community and important occasions, including Easter, Eid and St George’s Day.
The picnic provided a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, share food, celebrate the diverse occasions that are important to our community, and build connections across the nursery family. With time slots available to welcome families at different times of day, the event invited the whole community to join the celebrations.
The atmosphere was one of togetherness and joy, with families enjoying picnics, participating in the tombola, and having fun with hook-a-duck. These community events are so important, helping to build strong bonds between families, children and staff, and creating a sense of belonging within the nursery.
