SEND Early Years Support Worker
We are looking for a SEND Support Early Years Practitioner who:
- Is committed to building warm, respectful professional relationships with 2, 3 and 4 year olds and their families
- Has experience of working with children with additional needs
- Can scaffold children's learning and lead learning in a range of SEND intervention groups
- Can work with the team to create and maintain an inspiring learning environment
- Has excellent communication skills and can work positively in a team
- Is observant to all children's attempts to communicate and can foster children's skills to express themselves
- Can work with the team to ensure all children's safety in our busy nursery environment
- Is committed to work inclusively to promote the well being and development of children with additional needs

Speedwell Nursery School is a learning community where children, families and staff learn with and from each other in a spirit of mutual respect. Early Years Support Worker (SEND)

About the Role
The successful candidate will work closely with children who have additional needs, offering caring one-to-one support throughout the nursery day. You will help them take part in play and learning activities, build confidence and independence, and feel happy and included within our nursery environment. Your role will include supporting their individual learning plan, helping with their care needs and ensuring they are safe, engaged and well supported in all aspects of nursery life.
About You
Experience working with young children for at least 2 years or Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
Hours
Monday, Tuesday & Friday 12.30pm-3.30pm & Wednesday & Friday 8.45am-3.30pm

Early Years Practitioner
