The Role

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Early Years Teacher to join our team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers who are ready to begin their teaching journey in a supportive and inspiring nursery school environment.

School Meals Supervisory Assistant - 10 hours per week, Term time only

An opportunity have arisen to work as School Meals Supervisory Assistants (SMSAs) at our popular nursery school. This is a great chance for someone within the community to join our friendly and supportive team. We are looking for someone to work as part of the SMSA team who look after children at lunchtime, providing high quality, safe supervision, talking with the children and supporting them in their play.

Job overview

As part of our wider school team, you will have responsibility for the overall cleanliness and security of the school classrooms and site, having awareness of security policies, maintaining supplies of cleaning materials, and working with other members of the site team to keep the site to a standard expected by leadership and management.

Job requirements

At least one years experience of undertaking general cleaning duties in a domestic or commercial setting

Ability to manage time effectively in order to carry out day-to-day operations and assist with the smooth running of the school

Awareness of the relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working around children and young people

We are looking for a Senior SEND Early Years Practitioner who

• is committed to building warm, respectful relationships with 3 and 4 year olds and their families
• has significant experience of successful work with children with additional needs
• has experience taking a lead role within a team
• can scaffold children's learning and lead learning in a range of SEND intervention groups
