Located in the vibrant, diverse community of Horfield, Bristol. Filton Avenue Nursery School and Children’s Centre offers high-quality Early Years education for children aged 2–4 years. We are dedicated to providing a wide range of family support services and fostering a warm, supportive environment for both children and their families

We are a friendly and professional team committed to achieving the highest standards for our children and families, and we are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic, creative, and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join us

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have at least 1 year’s experience working with children aged 2–4 years
  • Be passionate about the care and development of young children and be able to support play and move learning on
  • Be committed to working collaboratively with parents/carers and the wider team
  • Have experience working with vulnerable families
  • Bring innovation and a fresh, free-thinking approach to early years education
  • Be able to inspire, motivate, and positively impact both children and colleagues
  • Hold a relevant L2 qualification to work in Early Years

The successful candidate will initially work with children aged 2-3 years, supporting their development in a nurturing environment

Little Hayes Nursery School

We are looking for a SEND Support Early Years Practitioner who:

  • Is committed to building warm, respectful professional relationships with 2, 3 and 4-year-olds and their families
  • Has experience working with children with additional needs
  • Can scaffold children’s learning and lead learning in a range of SEND intervention groups
  • Can work with the team to create and maintain an inspiring learning environment
  • Has excellent communication skills and can work positively in a team
  • Is observant of all children’s attempts to communicate and can foster children’s skills to express themselves
  • Can work with the team to ensure all children’s safety in our busy nursery environment
  • Has a relevant Early Years qualification

Little Hayes Nursery School is a learning community where children, families and staff learn with and from each other in a spirit of mutual respect.  We have a fabulous outside learning environment and dedicated indoor spaces for our two, three and four-year-olds.  This year, we are entering an exciting new phase in our development, and we are looking to recruit new team members to build on our long tradition of high-quality nursery education.
