Come and join our outstanding Nursery School and Children’s Centre in our newly refurbished environment.
We are looking to recruit a friendly, flexible and creative Caretaker who enjoys working with children and adults, takes pride in their work and enjoys repairs and maintenance.
St Pauls Nursery School and Children’s Centre is a Centre of Excellence for under 3s and has been designated as a National Teaching School. In this role, we work right across the city, hosting visitors, developing training and working alongside practitioners from other settings to develop the very best provision for our under-3s.
We pride ourselves on the exceptional quality of personalised provision provided for our youngest children, which holds their emotional well-being central to all we do.
Our challenge this year is to develop our outdoor learning space.
We are looking for a caretaker who has:
- General maintenance skills, including painting and decorating
- Good IT skills
- Good interpersonal skills and to be able to communicate with children, staff, visitors and contractors
- Experience with Health and safety systems and procedures, including fire safety
- Willingness to undertake appropriate training,g including health and safety
- Able to prioritise the workload
- Has good working knowledge of Health and Safety
- A love for the outdoors
- Enjoys having fun and thinking anything is possible!
