About the Role
As Assistant Head Teacher, you will:
- Support the Head Teacher in the strategic and operational leadership of the school.
- Lead on inclusive practice and provision for children with SEND, ensuring every child’s needs are met with care and expertise.
- Champion high-quality teaching and learning across the nursery, with a focus on nurturing developmentally appropriate practice.
- Work closely with families, external agencies, and staff to build strong partnerships and positive outcomes.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Is an experienced early years practitioner with a strong understanding of child development and inclusive education.
- Holds (or working towards or ready to start) the National Award for SEN Coordination.
- Has proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire and support others.
- Is resilient, reflective, and passionate about equity and excellence in early years.
- Brings warmth, humour, and a commitment to teamwork.
