Rosemary Nursery School has been celebrating a brilliant year and saying a fond farewell to its wonderful leavers across both Class 1 and Class 2, as children prepare to begin their next adventure at school in September.
In Class 1, children came together for special celebrations with their families, proudly sharing a colourful banner they had created together, along with songs they had been practising. It was a joyful opportunity for children to express themselves, build confidence and reflect on their time at nursery. The celebrations continued with plenty of smiles as children posed for photos, danced with their friends and enjoyed time together in the shade, sharing delicious ice lollies. These moments supported children’s personal, social and emotional development, helping them to recognise change, celebrate achievements and feel proud of all they have accomplished.
In Class 2, the week has been all about celebrating a brilliant year together and saying goodbye to the leavers. Children have been talking about where each of them will be next, whether starting at a new school or returning to Rosemary for another year, and it has been lovely hearing them share their excitement about the year ahead. On Wednesday, the children enjoyed their leavers’ parties, celebrating with friends and families in a joyful occasion that was the perfect way to mark such a special milestone.
It has been a pleasure to watch each child grow, learn and flourish during their time at Rosemary. The nursery wishes every member of the Class of 2026 the very best as they move on, knowing they will continue to shine brightly in their new settings.
