Knowle West Nursery School recently welcomed families to a joyful Summer Celebration Picnic, bringing the academic year to a close with warmth and community spirit. The event provided an opportunity for children, families, and staff to reflect on a successful year of early years learning and development, in line with the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
The nursery school expressed heartfelt thanks to all families who attended and contributed to the positive atmosphere. Special appreciation was extended to the Friends Group parents for their creative decorations and generous cake donations, as well as to Bethany, parent of Arlo-Jay, for the eye-catching balloon arch that added a festive touch to the occasion.
As some children prepare to transition to primary school or new early years settings, Knowle West Nursery School sends best wishes for continued success and happiness. For those returning in September, the nursery looks forward to welcoming them back after a well-deserved summer break.
The school will close for the summer today and reopen on Tuesday 2nd September, when staff will return to prepare for the new academic year. The team at Knowle West Nursery School extends sincere thanks to all families for their ongoing support and kindness throughout the year.
Wishing all families a safe and happy summer holiday.
