Every child at Speedwell Nursery School now has a book bag, and each Wednesday they can borrow a new book to take home and share with their family.
Stories at home, especially at bedtime, help children’s language grow and build a love of reading early on. Children bring their book back in its named bag each Wednesday and swap it for a new one, choosing from fiction and non-fiction. The team would love to hear which stories children enjoy most, so families are welcome to share their feedback.
