The Little Hayes and Speedwell Nursery School Federation comprises two of twelve local authority maintained nursery schools in Bristol, offering high quality early years education for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
In 2018, Little Hayes Nursery and Speedwell Nursery School federated to form the Little Hayes and Speedwell Nursery Schools Federation. Together they have developed a strong shared ethos and believe they provide a learning community where children, families and staff learn with and from each other in a spirit of mutual respect and collaboration. The federation embraces the philosophy that everyone is ‘learning and growing together’.
The federation believes that children should be excited to come to nursery, stimulated and challenged, and begin to develop a lifelong love of learning. They are passionate about continuing to provide outstanding learning opportunities for their children and for families to feel welcomed, supported and included in their child’s education.
Each setting is supported by an amazing, dedicated, and experienced team that is passionate about giving children the very best start in life.
